The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is the most widely-used personality sorter in the world.  Organizations of all sizes use it to help their people understand how they prefer to take in information and make decisions, which helps with problem solving, learning styles and better communication, overall, between team members and leaders.

I became a certified MBTI facilitator in 2005 and have faciliated group workshops for a variety of organizations, including Kellogg and the U.S. Department of Defense.  I also do individual MBTI interpretations.

My ultimate goal is to use MBTI in sports, mainly with coaches.  They're always looking for another tool to help them motivate their players, and this is a great one!
